Clinic update

Sep 30th 2020

To our current and prospective patients,

Since reopening our clinic doors in May, King’s Fertility has ensured to take every single preventive and precautionary measure in response to COVID-19, whilst ensuring we follow recommendations from our national health and regulatory authorities, as well as the various professional societies.

The safety, comfort and well-being of both our patients and staff is paramount to us, which is why we have the following system in place for anyone visiting the clinic: increased sanitisation, social distancing, appropriate PPE and sanitisation stations. Additionally, we have asked our patients to attend appointments alone when possible in order to carry out our safety precautions effectively.

In order to reduce the number of people in the building whilst ensuring we can still treat as many patients as possible, we are now conducting a significant number of consultations via phone or video call. However, face to face consultations are still being carried out when appropriate. This has enabled us to maintain social distancing measures whilst guaranteeing that we are still able to consult our current and prospective patients.

Undertaking IVF treatment can seem like a daunting process, especially during this time, which is why we have put these measures in place. Please appreciate that we are doing all that we can to give our patients the level of care and compassion they deserve, whilst ensuring it is being carried out in the safest way possible for both them and our staff at the clinic.

Please do not hesitate to contact us for any queries. Our doctors, nurses, embryology and administration teams have been working extremely hard to ensure we can provide the best service possible during these testing times, and we want to help in whatever capacity you may need.

If you are visiting the clinic, please ensure you wash your hands-on arrival. If you have any concerns about your health in relation to Coronavirus (COVID-19), please inform us prior to attending and contact the NHS111 Coronavirus service.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation.

Dr Ippokratis Sarris

Director of King’s Fertility
