Clinic Update – 03.11.20

Nov 03rd 2020

On October 31st, the Prime Minister announced a second lockdown in England subject to parliamentary approval on Thursday 5th November. Understandably, with the surge of COVID-19 cases and the latest news surrounding lockdown measures going into effect in England, Scotland Wales and Northern Ireland – we are aware that this is an increasingly worrying time – for our staff and our patients.

In light of these developments, we are issuing a further statement in accordance with the latest HFEA (Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority) treatment policy. At this time, we will not be shutting down the clinic but rather working to operate and perform fertility-related treatment services as we’ve been currently doing.

In this difficult time, we aim to ensure that our working environment and our patients’ fertility journey is as stress-free as possible, by treating the health and safety of our patients and staff with paramount importance. We will continue to employ our sanitisation, increased social distancing, appropriate PPE and COVID-19 health measures. We are taking all preventive and precautionary measure in response to COVID-19.

Please follow the safety protocols that the clinic has in place.

We will continue to monitor the situation and respond accordingly to the ever-changing landscape. If you have questions – please do not hesitate to contact us.

Thank you for your cooperation. Stay safe, remain vigilant and know we are here with you.

Warm Regards,

Dr Ippokratis Sarris
