Christopher Steer

Consultant in Reproductive Medicine

Mr Steer is an honorary consultant obstetrician and gynaecologist at King’s College Hospital. He has more than 30 years’ experience of assisted conception, having trained with Professor R Edwards, the pioneer of IVF. He has written over 25 publications and ten book chapters in the medical press related to this field of medicine.

Mr Steer is a minimal access surgery (key hole) trainer for the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and is one of only a handful of gynaecologists in Europe to have been awarded membership of the American Society of Reproductive Surgery (specialising in keyhole techniques). He is also recognised as a trainer in gynaecological ultrasound for both the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists and the University of London.

He offers both reproductive medicine and surgery in addition to assisted conception from our satellite clinic in Kent.
