CURRENT VACANCIES

King’s Fertility is the result of a partnership between the Fetal Medicine Foundation (FMF) and King’s College Hospital. The FMF is a charity that has been serving as a model and leading organisation in IVF both nationally and globally. King’s College Hospital boasts a great heritage in the field of fertility with an abundance of success spanning the last three decades and being one of the first IVF units in the UK.

Providing excellent patient support both face to face or via the telephone is key to making a difference and coupled with the determination to make King’s Fertility a clinic of excellence, we are recruiting for receptionists and call centre support co-ordinators to join our existing team of dedicated operational personnel. The working week is 40 hours including shortened (rota based) weekends whereby time off in lieu or overtime can be paid. Call centre experience or working as a receptionist in a clinical environment is preferred however not essential as full training will be given. You must be able to work in the UK.

Duties

• Meet and greet all patients in a warm and welcoming manner

• Promptly manage to respond to patient queries (emails & phone calls) with efficiency & professionalism

• Manage the waiting and reception areas

• Schedule appointments for patients

• Manage and document patient information, while ensuring confidentiality compliance

• Generate invoices & collect payments

Required experience and skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Systems

• Ability to multitask, demonstrating high time-management skills

• Good general professionalism

• High work ethic

• Passionate about customer service, understanding the importance of a patient-comes-first mentality

• The ability to be dynamic and compassionate when interacting with patients, being pro-active in resolving any concerns they may have

• Well organised and systematic, with attention to detail

• Understanding the values of King's Fertility

• Previous experience in the field of fertility is desirable

Salary range:

£18,000 - £23,000 /year depending on experience

King’s College Hospital boasts a great heritage in the field of fertility with an abundance of success spanning the last three decades and being one of the first IVF units in the UK.

Due to our excellent patient care, success rates and determination to make King’s Fertility a clinic of excellence, we are recruiting for registered Nurses (RGN or NMC) and HCA's to complement our existing team of dedicated professionals. The working week is 40 hours including shortened (rota based) weekends whereby time off in lieu or overtime can be paid. Fertility experience and HFEA familiarity are preferred but as a clinic with an ethos of continuous training and development, full training will be given. You must be able to work in the UK.
